Greetings fellow animal lovers!
My name is Lucie Rice and I am a commercial illustrator/graphic designer and currently reside in Nashville, TN. I have adored animals my entire life and have been inspired artistically by them for nearly as long.
Muttshots was conceived in 2008, when I created a portrait of our little brown dog, Lola, as a gift for my husband. He went nuts for it, and I decided to begin a fun side business. While originally done in traditional oil technique, I have recently revamped the look (gone digital), and now the portraits closely resemble my illustration and design style. The images are now bolder and more whimsical, and will compliment any modern home. Most importantly, they are a wonderful tribute to your beloved pet that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
