Process

GATHER PICTURES:  To create a portrait I need a few great pics of your pet to choose from. You may want to go for a close up approach or may want to include more of the environment in your portrait, depending upon your taste.  Please make sure the pictures you send are crisp and clear, so I can work from the best possible images to capture your pet’s look, color, and personality.  You can either email the photos to me or send them in the mail. Hard copy photos will be returned with your portrait order.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE:   Available sizes: 8X10”, 11X14”, 16X20”*

*Portraits are created digitally and may be printed to these sizes on high quality, artist grade paper. Your print will be signed and dated, and will include the name of your pet. Your print will not come to you matted or framed- that part is left up to you.

CONTACT ME:  Email me at lucie@lucierice.com and tell me what you are interested in ordering. Please be sure to include the pictures you would like me to work from and the size(s) you are interested in ordering. I will email you back with a contract, a short list of questions for you  about what you would like to see in your portrait, and instructions on payment.

PAYMENT:  Once you contact me with your order, I will email you an estimate and a contract.  I ask for upfront payment to help offset costs before I begin work on your portrait(s). You may either send me a check, or I will create a custom listing on my Etsy site so that you may pay through Paypal.

SHIPPING:  After your order is received, you can expect to get your email proof within 10 days. You may request small changes at this time.  Once you have approved your portrait  I will print your order and ship it to you via USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified.
